I'm sure this is some kind of security measure that's thinking it's not safe, though I'm really unsure how to fix this. The only kind of virus protection I got is McAfee, any suggestions?

Have you allowed an exception for Legends in your Windows Defender?

That I have but unfortunately the problem still persists.
On that note I also have the windowed version and the entire file excepted as well.

What I do is just open Windows Defender Security Center -> Virus and threat protection -> Virus & Threat protection settings and then disable real time protection before launching the application. Adding the program as an exception doesn't seem to work for me

Unless McAfee has actually popped up and asked you about it, it probably has it hostage. I would say the same for WinDefender, but it looks like you've already ruled that out

Did you check to see if windows defender or mcafee has the clients in their quarantine?

Here are the steps for McAfee-

    1. Click Start, Programs, McAfee, VirusScan Console.
    2. Right-click On-Access Scanner and select Properties.
    3. Click All Processes, Detection, Exclusions.
You would think the McAfee app would have an option in its settings but I had McAfee, it's just really really weird.
