Dpm meter addon. @Dpmchart

With all the hype around dpm graphs/charts with SI/SE/ciders/Echo, is it possible to introduce an in-game DPM chart?

Toggle @dpmchart or @dpmlog to automatically show the current LIVE dpm dealt to a certain boss by order of ranking during the entire duration of the boss fight.

Some sort of dpm meter like the one they have in World of Warcraft. With this feedback, immediately you can see which IGN;Class is dealing the most damage/carrying the fight. Sounds like a necessary add on for such a PVE oriented game.

What do you guys think? It'll help answer lots of "realistic" scenarios in terms of damage output by different classes in different boss fights.

 

Still think this is a solid suggestion. How many @dpm checks do you wanna do? and how would you know if the other person you ask "hey dude whats your dpm?" and he/she replies "20.5 POG" is the real deal or not?

Immediately you can see who is underperforming in a boss fight and which class is really struggling to keep up in a certain fight/instance.

haha I think it can go both ways. Either find out who's at the bottom or acknowledge those who are actually carrying the fight.
Imagine a 16x sair has more single DPM against a 17x NL or a 15x hero cleaving better than a 17x DK. So much useful dpm data can be logged to identify these players.
With this, we will know who has better gears, class mechanics and ultimately who to give the apple to haha.

Positive examples of using the DPM meter i.e planning better team compositions, recognising the carries to prioritise RES in boss fghts, rewarding players for their consistent DPM output.
Negative examples of using the DPM meter i.e DPM shaming certain classes/individuals, people with ego issues flexing on others, others might suffer from depression, calling out INTlords.

To me, it serve as an interesting bossing feature in runs and it's worth to look out for imo.
