New comer, where to start and what to do.

I always defend the point that you have to play something you like, bucc is a solid job, it's not that difficult to wash, maybe it's bad to level at the beginning because you're a beginner, maybe an option could be to go by the challenges? probably someone more experienced can give you a better opinion on challenge x play based on int
(this considering the hypothesis that you start with the job you mentioned)

Paladin. Really easy to wash too (even though you’re not interested, but definitely important)

 

I think archers (both types), night lords and buccaneers are versatile jobs and you will always find group easily for any bosses, if that's your main concern. But you should consider the way you like to play the game (some of these jobs I mentioned are more like hold 1 button, and others you need to pay more attention) and also the grind-ability of each one (night lords have a difficult 2nd job and even 3rd job, for example, so may be a bit tiring for first char).
If you like a specific content like me, you can also make a specific job that's good for this kind of content, for example: paladins are awesome at neo tokyo bosses.
About washing, remember we have the Challenges going on, so you can skip wash for your first char (I recommend washing if warrior or mages tho) and vote in multiple accounts to start saving NX for a future wash if you plan to.

Buccaneer is an awesome class. Very versatile, and desired in bossing parties.

The HP Challenges are really good for Buccaneers and till let you do pretty much all the content the game has to offer. I wouldn't recommend washing a Buccaneer as your first character.

Echoing what others have stated, play whatever you want for your first character and don't worry about washing on it but do definitely vote on another account or two for future classes to be washed. If you are playing a warrior however just put in 40-60 int and it opens up future washing oppurtunities for you while not heavily impacting your regular play.

 

Welcome! Every class is fun to play and there are plenty of opportunities to gain hp through the challenges and voting each day to gain a substantial amount of nx. There’s also at times 2x vote to help along. Events sometimes have ap resets and we now have coins to help you financially starting out. Look forward to seeing you in the server!
