But BStep is already a cleave skill, why do we need assassinate to be one too? Really I think that shads should also get Shadow Partner

 

Shadow partner is +50% damage and cannot smoke.

A second shad is +100% damage and can smoke.

 

A second shad means less exp

 

the more shads you have to multiattack, the better. maybe you just didn't learn it yet.

As a shadmain, I disagree with this suggestion. Assasinate is the main singletarget skill we have, we have more than 1 skill for cleaving.
If you really want to make shads better, this isnt the way.

 

Hijacking this thread to bump an older suggestion a shad buff/change. I think this pickpocket change would be great for both shads and those that run with shads. If the numbers suggested are correct, it'd be a healthy boost to lower range shads, encourage more active gameplay, and reduce the chance of killing people that left their meso magnet on pet on. Also this knockback change to work based on character position. No need to rework our single target skill when we have an already beloved skill that could be mixed into shadower gameplay that carried us in 3rd job.

Make boomerang step single target and assassinate cleave just for funsies.

Sounds like some dual blader shenanigans. Targetless assaulter would be better option imo.
