Increase channel numbers

    Hi i am aware that GM has already mentioned there are limited channels to get players to meet up more but when it comes to secure a popular hunting spot (such as ulu, skele), some might not have a chance to farm or sell leech.

    Is there any consideration to extend the channels?

    I'd love to go back to 8 channels. Or even just re-add some of the mini dungeons. The online player count has been consistently around 1,000+ players which is remarkable and a great sign for a healthy community.

    Zak/bossing around reset time can be brutal, even HT channels sometimes are full. Skele/Ulu/Petri is also rough if you need a map

    Every time this question comes up you could nerf the drops/exp/mob count/whatever of the maps in question and you're going to eventually end up with more than enough maps for all and a more balanced game.

    Aside from Ulu1/2 you'd be nerfing leeching. If we had better money options *cough* bossing we wouldn't resort so much to leeching to make mediocre returns

    It think it's a problem when the "next best" isn't even close. The main problem is it introduces a decision where your best (most efficient in regards to time-to-progress ratio) option at the given moment may be to not play the game, and try again later.

    I doubt increasing the channels will have the purpose to nerf the drops/exp and others if the player numbers increased, the channels themselves will get overload and only those who are at decent level can enjoy the game to full.

    It is about to give more chance to hunt in a populer spots for better item drops and exp.

    Thats what i believe but GMs and some may not agree on my thoughts haha.

    I believe this is a topic that most of the players would seek for GMs' further review.

    Oh yes for sure, I mean more like if you tune down the most popular maps a bit they will become comparable with other maps which will give players more variety in content without having to feel like they are missing out.

    Agreed! I think it’s not healthy in general if one spot is the go to with practically no alternatives for years. But in the case of adding more channels, having alternative maps (which imo is the best and most enjoyable solution) is no longer relevant.

    Agree with the stance that bringing other maps up to par, or at least close to, is a better alternative than giving more channels for people to sell leech on.

    Leeching nerf is just another multi mage buff.

    This literally happened within weeks of drk nerf where ulu2 leech became extinct, and skele/petri leech costs plummeted from 1:3.1 down to 1:3.3 ish. As most of the roar players got nerfed many of them went back to multi mage or leeching which saturated the market (and channels)

    It'd be nice to actually buff content outside of booming maps endlessly even HT ev is complete trash in 6 man runs still coming in lower than 1h skele/petri not accounting exp value*

    The only content that's remotely profitable is 2-3 man cwkpq which is basically on par/slightly above 1h Petri on average.

    For sake of not having asshole people coming onto my map and genning before ccing bc they couldnt steal an afk map gib more channels

    logged on recently and I have to ask...what the hell happened to ulu 1 and ulu 2...
    the spawn count seems much lower before all these mage ultimate nerfs/ roar nerf.

    I support more channels. Its hard to multi mage farm with only 6 channels to synch timers on.
