Hi everyone, I've decided to keep a journal of my NewLeaf story!

Now, I've been around on MapleLegends a long time, and making a journal always seemed something I would enjoy. I definetly enjoy reading them here. Never got to making one though as I felt I didn't really do something all that special.
With this however I feel like its special enough to keep track and maybe have some people enjoy the read.

March 18th, 2024 5:48 PM (local time) is when I first set foot in MapleLegends

First day I went from level 0 to 14 and became a bowman.
Im leveling through quests only (at this point in time) and the ones i did were all the ones at maple island and then the bowman training ones from Athena. Nothing special, but for my future I came prepared. You see I've been making a "Worth to do" quest list which shows me what quests to do for either good exp, good rewards or both!

With this list as a guide the next 3 days I made some quick progress through the levels with the limited time that I get to play.

I'm really enjoying the vibe of playing a MapleLeaf character, shooting double shot as a complete noob at HHG1 gave me a feeling of nostalgia I haven't had in a long time.

Thats all the progress I made so far, with alot more to come in the future!

Before I sign off my first entry I want to shout out mr. GojiNL


When I walked past him in henesys he was kind enough to give me some money for the taxi and really jumpstart my NewLeaf story, without the taxi money I wouldn't have done my quests so quick. Thanks alot!

Also, since I started later than almost everyone in NewLeaf there's no chance for me of finding a KPQ. (Not that I wanted or needed to use it for leveling, I was only interested in the bamboo hat.) This hat was also given to me by my master archer mr. GojiNL.

Hello everyone! It's time for a new entry.

Day 5 started rough, I got myself in a real bowman nightmare. And that nightmare was the following messasge:


Now I'm a strong boy, and as I was almost done with my quest:

I knew what had to be done. You see, part of the bowman experience is whacking monsters with my bow, and that got me thinking..
What if.. I used something else to whack mobs with instead? And so, I did exactly that.


QUEST DONE.

Another part of the bowman life is sucky maps. I'm talking Cave of evil eye sucky maps. I needed 200 of the tails of those evil eye mobs for various quests.. This was going to be a challenge.
Or so I thought! Luckily for me one of my guildies wanted to help me after I ranted in the guild chat about the bowman life in the sucky bowman map.

Day 6 was a good day, why was it a good day you ask?

That's why.

It was also the day I tried my first gacha openings (aside from an undocumented 1 yolo gach pull, got me a 30% cape for luk scroll)


Day 7 was a grind day. Not that I wanted to it just happend. For some reason boars don't like to drop what I need which resulted in me getting 3 levels of just trying to find 2 items.

The good thing is though, NewLeaf keeps proving itself as a nice and friendly bunch. I'm getting helped out left and right sometimes for no reason at all!

The next 2 days were chill did some questing and leveling. Also did some trading

And got invited to a wedding!

Wait is that.. SHNAPPY?? Yes. I got my girlfriend to start in the NewLeaf aswell ! YAY

After the wedding I decided to take a risk and trade my mask for scrolls.


The Gloves for ATT was used immediately


Yikes. Atleast the glove survived I guess.

Before I go, I wanted to give another shout out, this time to our great leader Skuire
You see, he promised us something. And who doesn't want a POGGERS from the great man himself? Its why I started this in the first place!

But as of today, 7 DAYS LATER

My journal remains POGGERS-less

So yes. Shout out to you Boss! I'm not mad.. just dissapointed.

Here we go! Another update.

First of all:

We did it!! And even got a second one for free. WOO

This entry starts with a gacha pull, let's see what I got:


Not too bad I take it!

I wanted to update my glove for a long time, luckily for me my buddy ColdIron helped me out. He dropped a 10% and a 60% for me which resulted in this:


So without hesitation I slapped the 60 as well.

Unfortunally ... the future wasn't so kind. Let's just move on to more pressing matters, my quest. You see, I had a big one to clear the infamous


You probably know what im talking about by just seeing this lil fella, but for you who don't here's the quest:


That's right. 2300 of their dolls. YIKES.

Luckily for me, my guildy knew how to keep me motivated


WOO with that bow staring at me I knew what needed to be done. But.. I felt somewhat .. clonflicted. That bow wasn't the only thing staring at me.
You see, as I was -what you can only describe as mass murdering monkey's- hit with this:


Imagine having to see that little sad face for hours on end. Getting the dolls. It was emotional let me tell you that much.


I still feel bad.

ANYWAY, we cleared the quest. That's what matters. Kenny will talk to me again someday, I just know it.

As my fans, you guys know I traded my white raccoon mask for a glove atk 30% + bow atk 30% scroll. We all know what happend to the glove scroll..
Well what's the update on the bow scroll?

I traded it. To my good old master archer, GojiNL. Love that guy.

Spoiler: Girlfriend update

Let's have a little update on my girlfrie.. hm, whats that? There isn't much to show? Because SOMEONE is always too busy playing a dumb ass game instead of helping out with the new born baby?
And I make it even worse by just writing everything you say down in my little journal?

That's it for this one! Not too much action but hey! We are making progress still.
In fact, my own made "worth to do" quest list is 195 lines long, and so far I've done 90 of those.
Now remember, 1 line in my own list can be something like "Do all of ellin quest ring" So that doesn't mean I only did 90 quests.
Im actually very close to completing 200!
