Getting rid of reused textures (e.g. Gold Surfboard - Purple Surfboard)

Legends being in my eyes "Old School Maple but better", I think it would be nice to revamp reused textures which, while having been in the original game since the start, just really don't make any sense.

Two reused textures like that I can think of are:

Gold Surfboard -> Purple Surfboard
and
Black Surfboard -> Sky Blue Surfboard

Compare this to the similar:
Dark Snowboard -> Sky Snowboard
and
Black Umbrella -> Sky Blue Umbrella

The solution?:
Making the colors fitting similar to this:

Gold Surfboard:



Black Surfboard:

Agreed this would move further away from legacy content. I see this as something that doesn’t really have much nostalgic value and more fixing things that objectively make no sense.

I think compared to one of the biggest impacts on moving away from legacy content; the new version hair and eyes, which in my opinion immediately stand out as unfitting in the environment of old Maple and the new towns with the content + items that came with that (which generally is a very good addition imo), mean that changes and additions to items, like renewing these surfboards, adding a new Maple Dagger or something I would like to see - Pirate equip variants, is just improving old Maple as Legends is already long gone from legacy GMS.

But that’s my view on things, both staying closer and moving away from legacy GMS makes sense to me and I don’t mind either
