    Description of the bug:
The total XP required to get from level 7 to level 8 is 560. I had a level 7 character which was close to level 8. I then did the Amoria hair quest (https://poof.ml/?p=quest&id=8860) which awards 1500 XP (after X3 quest EXP), but instead of leveling up twice as I expected, I ended up at level 8 with 839/840 XP. Even if I had 0/560 XP before doing the quest, I should still have gotten to level 9, because 560 + 840 = 1400 which is less than 1500.

In short, I did not receive full XP from the quest. It seems that there is some sort of limitation that prevents characters from leveling up more than once from a quest.

What is supposed to happen?: I was supposed to get full XP from the quest.

Quests (and killing) before level 10 are 1x only.

However, on my client, it said "You have gained experience (+1500)". I have edited my original post with a screenshot to illustrate this. Also, if I truly only received 1x EXP, then it would not have been possible for me to end up with 839 XP after leveling.

Oh i did read wrong about your issue. This is still intended however so you dont level twice in row and lose stats. You need to kill 1 mob and you will level again with correct EXP.

This is how it also worked in GMS and is not a bug.

When you say level again with correct EXP, do you mean that I will be awarded the leftover EXP "owed" to me by the quest after I level up? Because I just killed a blue snail, and ended up at level 9 with 8 EXP, so it seems like the leftover EXP from that quest was not awarded.

Additional info: The blue snail gave 9 total EXP (8 base + 1 event EXP) which got me from 839/840 XP at level 8 to 8/1242 XP at level 9. Also, I logged out after finishing the quest and logged in again to kill the blue snail.

Yeah, you gotta be mindful of this at the early levels. If you over-level, you end up losing exp. =o( There's nothing that can be done about such things, I don't think. But if you get a BF leech at a higher level, you definitely would not want to level twice because you could lose out on stats.
