Thanks for your input! It definitely makes sense to compare WAtt to gloves or capes, and it's objectively better as they are common equips. However, it feels better for me to acquire a decent Dragon Khanjar due to the supply. Additionally, my rate of earning isn't exactly high, so I can't attempt these scrolls frequently.

With that said, I think I will leave this 24 WAtt alone for now as a fallback to make 35 WAtt and consider CS-ing more +1 Dragon Khanjars to see how it goes. If I do get another +4 WAtt, I could attempt a WS + CS.

I'm glad I managed to get a dagger upgrade with my 1k coins when they were at 2.6 mil.

With coins dropping close to 2 mil meso, it's a good time to Chaos Scroll.
If I can maintain the earning rate of 19 mil/hr at DGP, I'd be able to afford a Chaos Scroll every 11 hours of farming.

I also sold the 19 DEX, 2 LUK skirt for 250 mil meso + 71 pcoins about two days ago. The image shows 150 mil because there was a separate trade for the other 100 mil.



So now I do have just enough for the next CS attempt if I want to.

I was inspired by Darah's earlier this year to consider making a 40 WAtt Dragon Khanjar. Compared to theirs, the end result is going to be lower by 3 Luk, but the 5 Str makes up for about 1.5 Luk, so it's not that far off and definitely worthy of WS10.

I was hesitant to start CS-ing as I'm usually very conservative with taking risks, but I'm at the point where I'm not going to get anything better without taking any. Since the start of the journal, I've managed to build up my pain tolerance progressively from a lot of failures, but I also got very lucky.

As for the 24 WAtt, I might take up the suggestion by Akash and attempt a WS+CS.

 

If you're expecting the upcoming scroll to be a WS10 project, I'm going to disappoint you by saying that I'm not starting it straightaway.

Instead, I'm considering WS+CS on the 24 WAtt next. Selling the 24 WAtt could also be an option, perhaps for around 700-800 pcoins?
If CS passes:

+3 WAtt -> WS60 into 35 WAtt
+4 WAtt -> sell the one with fewer Luk
+5 WAtt -> potential 41 WAtt

Roughly ~27% total chance for any of the above outcomes, which isn't too bad!

If the 24 WAtt doesn't result in an upgrade, I'll look into completing 3 slots of WS10 first on the 25 WAtt, so that it becomes 34 WAtt, an upgrade from my current 33 WAtt.

Also, if you recall earlier this year, I prepared a bunch of equips that I'd consider using CS on.



Between top/bottom and shoes, I think I'll get the most out of the shoes since the 10%/60% scrolls give fewer stats of 3/1 compared to the clothes 3/2. It's also easier to complete with 3 remaining slots after a successful CS. More importantly, shoes are gender-neutral.

However, there's Facestompers, which is preferred by high-end players. Though I shouldn't be concerned about its resale value since I'll be scrolling it for myself if I decide to do so.

There is an ongoing world leap event in one of the official servers, MapleSEA. There are currently 4 servers, ABCD, and historically, world leap events only allowed leaping from any server into BCD as A was the first and most populated server.

However, this time, leaping into any world is allowed, and having all of my characters in B, I decided that I want to leap into A so that I have access to a healthier market. Although I haven't been playing for a long time and the last I played was during the release of the 5th job, I just want to prep them in case ML shuts down.

These are my two favorite characters, lv222 Xenon and lv232 Shadower.



My equips are nowhere near the top; I’ve only upgraded them mostly with items that can be obtained by playing the game. MapleSEA is notorious for having the most expensive cash shop, and I couldn't afford them back in the days as a student. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed the game a lot and have plenty of fond memories.

I’ll be performing the leaps for all the characters during ML’s patch maintenance later.

 

raysinz5 has made this cool Timeless Lubav, which tempted me to make an offer for it.



While it's 1 WAtt less than my current 16 WAtt Brown Work Gloves, the 13 Luk more than makes up for it. It also has the potential to gain up to 15 more stats from leveling up if it follows the info Hidden Street has provided. I don’t see myself committing to a gloves upgrade in the near future, so I'm totally fine with this being untradeable.

If I win the bid, I get an upgrade and can still earn some extra meso by selling the BWG, so I'm happy with it.



Then there's the dagger…



it’s been lingering in my mind, this ugly piece of equipment. No offense to the person who made it, it’s just a personal preference.

I’ve decided that once I’m done with my 24 WAtt, 5 slots Dragon Khanjar, my next goal would be to make a 133+ WAtt Pescas so that I can sell away this ugly dagger.

 

You can end that faster too by providing some coins.

Anyway, I got outbid for the Timeless Lubav, so I'm spending everything on this WS+CS attempt.

 

Following the above event, I'm now poor AF. So I'm not expecting to scroll anything in the near future given my current earning rate.

Therefore, the frequency of journal updates will decrease drastically, mainly because I've also decided to stop documenting my farms and just do small sessions whenever I can without having to care about the numbers to save some time.

The next scrolling projects I'm looking at are making a 133+ WAtt Pescas and passing 3x WS10 on my 25 WAtt, 5-slots Dragon Khanjar. For that, I'm looking at earning 10 bil meso to work on both projects, which will take quite some time. With my humble average earning rate of 20 mil/hr, it’d take me 500 hours of farming. If I can squeeze in 1 hour of farming on average every day, it’d take me about 16-17 months total. So I’m expecting something to be done by the end of next year!

 

If I can do core in segments of 10-15 mins I'll join!
