Information September 2023 Balance Changes [Explained]

I can see your point. You made this nerf with the intent to tackle sair multi-client farming. However, as it stands, the skill is much worse than mage ults in terms of damage, and both roar/mage ults in terms of their ability to farm due to the 6-target limit and 5s cooldown.

Has the balance team considered changing the 5s cooldown? I can see this change benefiting single-client sairs, while minimally benefiting multi-client sair farmers.

 

so funny how ppl decide to get the "non budgeted class" and cry after has to pay the same for attack potions as "budgeted classes"

Moral of the story: Don't make NL unless you have 15b to throw around. You don't actually out damage anybody and all you do is get nerfed.

its not even very effective nerf for the individual NL ..
its just evry balance change in the past years i play everyone trying balance that class and put it as the best class in the game what could be true long time ago,
But those days with alot of content added i find it far behind many classes in many scenarios... but still in a good spot to deside remove its passive KEK

I just realy think that server have too many ppl hate that class for no real reson and have no good point or real suggest for balance or objective sight , just satisfaction to see NL of the bottom at the end

Are you telling me that I decided to do a self-imposed challenge a year or so ago that revolved around getting particular enemy drops, only to have chosen to do so with a class where drop rates were reduced across the board?

No wonder it was so miserable.

I'm implying this change will hit DK mains just as hard as multi-DK.

 

I'd find it extremely odd if your sole grinding strat was just spamming DRoar, but I'm not a DK main. Any DK mains able to weigh in? I don't see how adjusting the drop rate of a skill that needed to be addressed seriously impacts those in late game stages of gameplay. Please elaborate more on how this will impact DK mains.

 

It affects DKs who trained at CDs with roar during 3rd job. It also hurts those who used a DK to card hunt.

 

hello i own 4 dks, spend significant time on them, and own a +7 ski (3 off). i have more dks than i have mages or bowmasters.

this affects my gameplay as my sole attacking skill is roar. my dks have already been rejected off zak runs by beegoratto. i think i do good damage in arms phase.

 

How different is roar training/farming at CD's compared to PA Fury training in terms of EPH and damage? Also don't see this a downside, considering what type of skill roar is. Drop rate nerf for the type of skill it is seems like a worthy trade off than just having it continue to be a problem.

 

as a Crusader currently at 107 trying to slowly make my way through the ToT questline to get some XP, big fan of the xp rate changes for those mobs! I was actually trying to fight Thanatos and Gatekeeper last week to test their xp, so its interesting those two mobs are getting changed. I will probably go to leafre and try fighting rextons once i am done with the ToT 999 kill quests

 

Can you also nerf night lord avoid and shadow shifter so we can actually use the alchemist gutting.

 

Regardless of the balance changes. I’m just happy I can still play old school Maple.
