You can do all bosses just fine with minimal impact to QoL. Dont listen to the elitists

 

Based on your goal, HP washing would be more recommended and enjoyable. Don’t listen to someone who is creating a 30k HP BM.

 

The main reasoning is that since you intend to play all the way to the end, you will eventually have a surplus of vote cash, and you may end up regretting not washing.

If you're worried about grinding, a Bandit is fully capable of grinding on its own without relying on their attack range, as their skill, Meso Explosion, doesn't depend on its stats but on meso to deal damage. You might as well take advantage of this.

You don't have to wash up to 30k HP—anywhere between 15k-20k is pretty good and very manageable even for a new account. For 15k HP at level 160, including equips, you'll need to invest around 200 base INT starting at level 40, after having some LUK for damage to grind until level 70. From there, you can start using Meso Explosion until level 120+ without issues, while you wait for vote cash to MP wash whenever you have enough.

You can do all bossing just fine. Don't listen to a shad who doesn't do any bossing and solely farms for his own personal goals

 

Considering his gears he would easily qualify for 18-24 man (or even lower depending on what can be muled) instead of a 30 man, but the low hp would soon become a liability.

If you want to perform in the "sweatier" runs just wash as much as you can. If you don't then challenges are fine.

 

Unless you want do have a VERY luxurious life or be VERY sweat, the challenges are enough for shads to do all content. Im somewhat in the same boat as Mirrors . My shad had roughly 8,8k clean at 194 and I have done Auf without HB, and PBd with HB on it at earlier levels (still 18x tho).

If youre fine with doing 30-man PB`s (with HB) you would 100% be fine with just the challenges. Subterlabor 's pic shows even unwashed shads can be perfectly fine in the highest content. Yes, he might have amazing gear, but that doesnt help him taking less damage (unless he scrolled for wdef...).

If you DO want to almost never worry about HP, or NEVER be reliant on HB AND have no issues with the long time needed to vote, leech and not being able to fully use your character, then do wash the hard way. If you choose this road, you should commit to it and aim high.

(Personally I find too high washed shads incredibly boring, as my current shad (12k incl. equips, before MG/HB) is already a snoozefest HP-wise in almost all content)
