Ellin Forest Expansion



With the July balance patch came an expansion to Ellin and with it a continuation of the questline, new mobs and maps, two new bosses, and a new ring. It's been 2 weeks since its release and hopefully many of you have had the time to thoroughly explore and digest it. For those who have, we'd love to hear your thoughts on it!

In the replies below, feel free to discuss what you liked and/or disliked about it.

If you're not sure where to start, here are some talking points to help guide you and your responses:

• Mobs
  • Do you enjoy grinding or farming at the new maps?
    • Is the exp of these mobs sufficiently rewarding?
      • Is it competitive with other meta maps for the level range of 100-120?
      • How was your experience doing them solo and in a party?
    • Are the drops from these mobs and their respective drop rates satisfactory?
    • How do you feel about the map layouts and mob density?
  • What do you think could maybe use some changes?
• Bosses
  • How is the gameplay and design for these two new bosses, i.e. Chao and Ephenia?
  • Do you feel that their difficulty is well-matched for their intended level range?
  • Are the rewards from these bosses worth it?
  • Does the exp from these bosses feel worthwhile?
  • Does the amount of materials needed to craft the Fairy Heart feel balanced to you?
• Ring
  • Do you find this item useful?
  • Do you intend to scroll the ring in the near future, if you haven't already?
  • Do the stats awarded from scrolling the ring feel adequately rewarding?
  • Does the amount of materials needed to craft Ephenia's Soul Crystal feel balanced to you?
  • Does the time and effort required to enhance this item feel balanced to you?
