Hard agree. It also makes it tedious to search the fm channel and have to skip through 9 pages of someone posting the item every hour for a week.

 

Definitely agree on this, there's absolutely no reason that someone needs to post in that channel twice on the same day

If this is implemented, there should be a 20 hour cooldown instead of 24 hours. That way you have some slack if you want to post around the same time every day

Came to the forum to suggest this exact thing. There's been posts that are >30 lines long with a huge amount of fluff and have been posted almost every single hour with only a few posts in between. Really no need to post something again so often if I can scroll 5 seconds upwards and already see your post; it's quite obnoxious.

Honestly, I made that giant Dunas 2 crab post because I thought it was funny but I have unironically received far more replies to it than before the giant mess ad. Before the ad I posted a couple times and received zero replies, after the huge spammy ad I have received 7 replies in 2 days and sold service 3 times already.

Personally I don't like the crazy ads, but I agree that they are probably effective so don't have a problem with that! That's just marketing your product/service at the end of the day.

It just becomes a bit annoying if someone posts 10x a day, and it's compounded further if it's a giant crazy post 10x a day.

 

FWIW even though the ads are incredibly effective I'd rather a restriction be put in place for 1 post a day. I also think the FM is unreadable.

I blocked all the spammy users it works great. They sell items I cant afford in my lifetime anyway
