Beautiful Journal

Hello and welcome to my Beautiful Journal. The idea of having a leveling journal seems pretty fun and a good way to remember my experiences. Everyone else can have a good laugh when I inevitably flub something.

After talking with my coworker all afternoon about what to play, I decided on going melee as a paladin (maybe). I got a cool shirt™ drop on the starting island and made my way to Perion at level 10 where I became a warrior.



I didn't feel like spending a thousand meso to go back to Henny with a taxi so I decided to grind on stumps. I got a few levels but also a gacha coupon. I'm excited to see what I get with it.



I know I should probably be saving NX; however, I really want to name my pig something. I was thinking Kinkatsu but I'm open to suggestions because that's kind of a dumb name. I also want the Pink Bean pet because it's very cute.

Current goal: get money and level 30 for second job.

 

I considered that but decided against it. I'll change it up once I'm home since I'm at work, haha.

I haven't been able to play much because of my timezone and the DDoS timing but I do have a few updates.

I ran into my friend on the way to New Leaf City by complete accident. I didn't know he was playing and we were both on our way to do the quest with the mayor. After doing the quests I realized a fatal flaw in my plan of using a teleport rock to get back. I had forgotten to set a place on the rock first. I waited until someone hit first job to tele to them instead. I went to Perion right after and did the quest for Blackbull to get a shield upgrade. I changed my skin color to like, a corpse white or something.


From there I went to Nautilus and quested until I hit level twenty. I managed to get another gacha ticket and got a scroll! I have a few at this point but I don't know if they're worth anything. From here, I went to Showa town and ran into my friend again. Before shopping, I got a haircut. I bought a sword and the towel and went back to start the quest chain for the brown bamboo hat. While killing slimes, I got another gacha coupon (another scroll) and a sky snowboard. It's pretty exciting since I've never had one before.




Current goal: nine more levels for 2nd job.

 

It's been a hot minute but I finally have an update.

After questing and getting the pig magazine, I went to ant tunnel and decided to grind out level 30. I made a bunch of money, got some earrings, a spear for my friend's alt, two gacha tickets, and (most importantly) level 30 for second job. I went back to Perion and used my gacha tickets and got one of my favorite items. BONE HELM. I really like dead stuff and skeletons so having my favorite helmet this early on is really exciting. I was half expecting to spend a million years killing drakes but nope!


After getting my boner helmet, I did some monkey slaying.


30 marbles later and I'm officially on the path to Paladin! Very exciting.

 

Nah, just busy. I bought a frog, haha.

So, I've been pretty busy and haven't played my page much. I did level a thief to an assassin in what free time I had though and made a bunch of money. Less money than my friend did though, haha. Hopefully we both get to win big in the next event. I forgot how fun assassin is too.


I mentioned in my last post that I got a frog. Getting his house set up is what really kept me busy last week. Before that, I've been really busy with reorganizing my apartment and getting some new furniture. Throwing stuff away where I live can be a little annoying. Anywho, here's a picture of my frog. He's handsome, no? His name is is Guibako or Mr. Gui for short.
