I'd argue that i/l have better 2 hit petris+ eph though since monsters can't retaliate when frozen

Tillimdead we need to petition kimmy to nerf those op bishops so they stop using fp wands

 

oml i was just talking about the life of a bishop
grind at gs2, leech off a fp, then take all their wands from the market at 130+

 

nightlord is cheapest pot wise too with high avoidability, shadow shifter, drain, dark sight and flash jump (to avoid getting hit)
but bishop still by far the best class in game with cheaper genesis (compared to blizz/meteor) and bossing utility and many weak to holy grindings places (ninja castle,skeles,gobbies)
also i think paladin is very good for casuals with heavens hammer (once maxed ure wanted in every party regardless of ur items) and no hp wash requirement

 

shadowers get hit half the damage of everyone else, have the same avoidability, their shadow shifter give an extra 10% avoid than nls, and they also have i-frames from boomerang step
nls are probably second for low pot usage

 

no drain tho and meele so u get hit more, and less avoid cus need str too (less luk)
but ya u right shadowers too

 

Ye i use like 50-100 hp pots a horntail, shadowers are a good time. If you really want you can use chakra while grinding and use 0 pots.

 

most shads i know only have 20-30 str and dont scroll anything for str
but idk ive never really played nl

But how effective and efficient is it, Mages at any boss with dispel is a recipe for disaster.
I doubt any mage would solely anego/sam instead of grinding.

 

I did an anego/sam solo (i did solo both) for around 20-23 mins, its not as efficient as a NL/BM/MM but it doesn't have to be its mostly for people who want to be mage mains and not feel discouraged about not being included in boss runs. (main point was also comparing f/p and i/l and not mages vs attackers)

if the boss has a dispel attached to an attack (i.e manon/griffey) you can still do it, just requires a lot of focus and attention.

 

How? Is there a delay between the dispel and the damage where you can quickly re-Magic Guard?

 

Meteor/blizzard have longer cast animations so if it dispels during it you're out of luck

 

hug the body while mg is on and as bishop use angel ray + bahamut, as i/l use ice strike (vs manon) or elemental composition (avoid using ifrit cause it can 1 shot blue kents as they're weak to fire). You should avoid most of the magic attacks like this.

After making a NL myself that still has a 86 INT, I completely agree with this. A NL with INT would still white other classes with equal/ better gear, unless their gear is significantly better or they are MUCH higher leveled
