Remove ws/cs from gachapon

As a relatively new player (<6 months) I'd be a bit annoyed if everyone who'd been in the community for longer got to farm and level with ws/cs in the gach pool and I didn't

But maybe that's a bad argument, idk

 

Remove gach from monsters altogether.

 

make quests give gach, remove gach from mob drops

 

Time to move gach back to the cash shop?

 

Personally Im very happy that I can farm my own cs/ws as a casual player, whether that is from questing (gach from mobs) or bossing, doesnt really matter. I can see why one would want gach drops removed from mobs tho, for the obvious reason of...multimages.
Id rather see different measures taken against that (like droprate linked to (more) skills or a rework so the damned 6+ target skills stop existing). Let the players who dont resort to extremes not be the victim.

 

There's better alternatives than stripping all mages of their identity.

 

When a mages identity is exploiting things and being a leech/farmmachine, is it really an identity they should be happy with? Would you not rather have mages get the identity of being useful in content? (and i mean, ALL content)

that's just how most suggestions on forums work (not looking at this thread), most are structured in a way with some disproportionate benefit to themselves.

aside from that i wouldn't be surprised if something like this is implemented in the future

Remove WS/CS from gacha’s legendary pool and add pouches 1-4 into the pool.

Make all pouches untradeable, so everyone has to open their own pouches for coins.

Coins are still tradeable. Pouch 5 is available from bosses but not from gacha, effectively reducing the rewards from 0mil to ~320mil to 0mil to ~150mil (4wa PGC). CS/WS services will eventually be depleted, so the only way to get them would be exchanging 100 coins.

 

I dont see how this helps considering gach farming will still be highly profitable and bossers/casuals will take a hit instead. Until gach is removed entirely from mobs to remove the scaleability of the farming it will be a broken system favoring mass client farming.

 

If the gacha is entirely removed, casual players and low-level characters would lose their primary means of earning, while multi-client farmers already have the infrastructure to farm any other maps. This situation would further widen the gap between new and old players.

If you look at the maps I farmed and the documented earnings in my journals, none of them took gacha into consideration. Two clients with high level characters consistently yield 12-15 mil meso/hr, and each additional client adds about 4 mil meso/hr.

The maps where the current multi-client farmers choose to farm gachas typically rely mostly on the RNG of gacha pulls. It's these CS/WS pulls that "save" these runs, while the others would have a mixture of meso, item, and gacha drops. My suggested change would decrease the only portion of earnings for the multi-client farmers who farm gacha while decreasing the gacha portion for the rest. Bossers receive almost no gacha, so this change has minimal impact on them.

 

Multi client gach subsidized farming would still be the meta. With gach removed entirely from mobs players have to resort to pure drops whether farming scrolls or equips, and leeching. It removes how high the profit margin scales directly with regards to ev:clients. Anyone can make a bishop and sell leech for 12-20m/hr where a dk farm is still highly scaleable and profiteable because of reg gach being worth 1-1.5m/each without including ws/cs value
