Slightly better than average overall.

I can choose to 4xWS60% into 133wa, 21luk and end the dagger journey, 1xWS10% into 130wa, 21luk for at least an upgrade, or maybe this dagger is not worth any WS at all and I should just 30%/70%/60% and see where it goes.

Expected WS usage for 4xWS60% is 6.66 (minimum 4), and 1xWS10% is 10 (minimum 1).

It's pretty late for me now, so I'll think of the next step tomorrow.

After some thought, I feel that this dagger is not worth doing 4xWS60% as the minimum cost is too high—4 minimum WS means about 1.32 bil meso and potentially 2 bil or more for an untradeable 133wa, so it’s definitely out. It’s possible that I might get extremely lucky with a 1xWS10%, but that’s unlikely, and the expected cost is 3.3 bil meso on average, so it's not worth it either. So, I conclude that it’s not worth any WS.

That leaves me with 30%, 70%, and 60%, and there is a scrolling sequence I have come up with, based on the assumption that either of these scrolling code logic is true.

Based on the diagram, if any of the higher % scrolls fail, all the lower % would have failed either way. So, there is no "I should have 30% instead" because that would have failed at that same moment over a 60% or 70%.

The strategy would be to scroll with 60% first, and if any of the slots fails, scroll the next slot with 70%. If any of the 70% fails, scroll the next slot with 30%.

The idea is I would want at least 130wa; otherwise, there's no upgrade. A mix of 3x passes of 60%/70% would get me 131wa. A 1x30% pass would get me 130wa. Since there are still 4 slots, the first slot can go for the safe choice until it fails, and then I'll have to go for the highest chance possible to get 130wa or 131wa. If all fails/booms, there will be no regrets since it'd be worse than my current dagger anyway. If it survives with below 130wa, any failed slots, CSS attempts will be made.

If there is no news of the dagger after this, it never existed.

The Timeless Pescas was rather unfortunate. Time for another reset.

The market activities are rather slow, so another dagger scrolling is going to take a few months again to get somewhere.

In the meantime, I'll have to see what I'll do for a change of pace. I'll be going on vacation soon, so there will be a week where I won't be playing.



Currently, I've increased my Prestigious Coin reserves to 1.2k, intending not to utilize them unless there are notable shifts in the market requiring additional meso. During this period of uncertainty about my next move, I'll just be doing regular farmings, or simply do other stuff.

The supplies in general are pretty crappy, so I’m including all daggers from Dragon, NT, Reverse, and Timeless.

If the dagger had leveled up to 127wa instead of 125wa, I’d definitely WS60 to 135wa.

You probably meant Dragon Kanzir? I would if I managed to get a +4 on a perfect one in the process, But only WS10 for 1 slot to 130wa.

If I somehow manage to accumulate 4k coins before finding a 130+wa dagger, then I’ll consider getting a perfect one.

 

Found some Magical Coin Pouch 1 selling slightly below the average value price.



The average yield for these pouches is 2.5 coins, if valued at a 3.1 mil rate, would make it 7.75 mil meso.



Bought all 15 pouches for a total cost of 112.5 mil meso, and opened to 45 coins total, which converts to 2.5 mil meso/coin.

With my meso balance down to only 50 mil, it's time to get back to farming.

 

I had plenty of single-coin openings from Ravana that I didn't show, and I do have my fair share of unfortunate encounters as well.

Opening pouches for others with positive results feels like giving away my good luck. I would never consider offering CS/WS services, but if I ever do, it would be a 100% service with a premium payment for successful/positive passes and no payment for failures.

 

A little sharing.



I always keep a Plunger in my equipment inventory to separate items I want to sell. This way, when I'm mass selling items, the Plunger acts as a marker, moving up as I sell in the NPC shops. It helps me avoid accidentally selling valuable items. In case of a fast click or a slight lag, the Plunger takes the hit first. This actually happened for the first time to me yesterday while selling items and the Plunger actually saved me. RIP Plunger.

 

My last Timeless weapon leveling has left quite an impression on me. Though it was only a few hours, it felt like a son to me.

Inspired by this experience, I decided to delve a little into the numbers of Reverse/Timeless leveling—the study of Timeless-logy Basic 101—and here are the tables.



It may seem overwhelming at first, so feel free to just focus on the two tables below, which represent a typical Timeless, covering 5 levels of physical weapon attack. Each level has a chance to gain 0-2wa, resulting in a total potential gain of 10wa over 5 levels.



The left table illustrates the number of combinations for the sum of the 5 levels. The more combinations there are, the higher the chance. For instance, there is only a single leveling path for both sum of 0 and 10. Out of 243 total possible combinations, you would have to be incredibly unlucky or lucky to land on these extremes.

The right table shows the chance that the sum of the leveling results in at least a certain amount. For example, there is a 20.99% chance that the final sum of the 5 levels will be at least 7 or above.

Hope I got those numbers right.

 

Hello peepoos! Currently, I'm in a phase where success depends purely on luck to make a decent dagger. Despite numerous attempts, my goal of achieving 130+wa has fallen short, with the best result being 129wa after over 90 dagger attempts. I've used a considerable number of 30% scrolls on various daggers, and now I plan to focus on ensuring successful scrolls on daggers with the potential for higher wa or completion into a perfect one—prioritizing quality over quantity.

From now on, I won't attempt scrolling on any dagger below a clean 105wa. I've decided to narrow down my choices to 105wa Kanzirs, 105+wa Reverse/Timeless Killics, and Pescas. NTs are ugly, so screw those.

However, this will happen after my upcoming vacation, coupled with preparations for moving into my new house. I anticipate this to be sometime after the mid-year, ensuring everything is settled before I continue the journey.
