Best bishop build?

Hello, I just opened a new mage and I intend to become a bishop in the future.
Im a bit confused about the equipment and the LUK stat and ill glad to get some help.
From my understanding a mage damage is scaled only with INT, LUK on the other hand is used to wear better gear, and ive seen some people saying I should invest only in INT, so I need to look for equipment that doesnt require any stats to wear, like bathrbe, sauna robe, maple wepons etc..
But what happens at higher levels when I face powerful monsters? Ill get one shoted most probably, so what will i do then? What eqp luckless bishops use? thanks
