[Guide] Late MP Wash Calculator

Hi all,

As a mostly-inactive old player, I have accumulated a sizeable amount of NX on some of my chars, which has made late MP washing an option. Given the lack of collated information on how to plan your late MP wash, I decided to make a calculator on this. Note that this spreadsheet is only useful for NL/BM/MM classes - since I'm working on raising a MM this is what I have done for myself.

Guide:
Duplicate the worksheet to your own Google Drive / Download the Excel to your own computer to edit.

Yellow cells are input variables, namely:
- Current Level
- Target HP
- Current HP (obtain from APR screen)
- Current MP (obtain from APR screen)
- Current excess MP (obtain from $washes from ML discord bot. i.e. $washes archer 143 7682)
- Desired level to wash out (level at which you wish to reach your Target HP)
- Current INT
- Current NX and Current APR (optional)

Green cells contain information you might find useful:
- Base INT required - your target INT for the late wash
- Shortfall in NX and Days of Voting Required (how much more you might have to vote)

I like how this calculator works. I like how it backs into the required Base INT you would need, based on how much MP each MP Wash would have to generate.

Some additional comments:

I believe that C15 "Desired level to wash out:" also an input field. Currently set to level 175. More accurately named "level to reset Base INT", as you'll likely still have quite a bit of MP to Stale Wash at that point.

These calculations are also applicable to Shadowers, as they use the same formulas as Night Lords and Archers.

C28/C29 doesn't include the NX cost to finish Stale HP Washing, it's just showing the NX cost to finish MP Washing and reset Base INT.

The calculator isn't accounting for HP/MP gained from upcoming LevelUps, or improved equip(s).

This approach is very similar to a Kalash Wash, where instead of increasing your Base INT to your target INT as you're leveling up, you do it all at once. It adds significant NX cost, but it's a valid approach if you have an existing character with a ton of NX that was originally planned for a lower HP target.

It's also worth mentioning... for many returning characters that had planned to wash to a lower threshold, the HP Challenges are a good alternative. For example, there's little reason for a ranged character to wash to a total HP less than ~13,500 HP, as you'll be able to get that much HP from the challenges + equip(s).

Hi!

Thanks for your feedback - I have added in your suggestions. What you mentioned about taking an existing character with a ton of NX originally planned for a lower HP target was indeed the motivation for putting together this spreadsheet. My character was originally planned with a 15k target - revising it to 23k base to tank PB touch was what I was working towards.

Thanks for also pointing out the NX cost required to finish Stale HP washing. I missed that part out and re-factored it into my projected INT requirements.
