Completed Scheduled Maintenance: April 26, 2025

Hello Maplers,

We will be performing Scheduled Maintenance on Saturday April 26. It will last approximately 1 hour. Upon completion, the game will be brought back online and service will be restored. Once restored, you can log in and play!

Time:
5 PM server time
(7 PM CEST)

What will be unavailable:

• All MapleLegends game servers and channels
• Merchants will be closed
• In-game name change requests using @changeign are automatically processed

Changes and Updates:

• Maintenance due to 52 days uptime*
• Preparations for upcoming patch

*For the past few months we've made a lot of optimizations to our code, as well as cleaning it up as bunch. Normally, we restart it every month at best, or when there's a patch. This time, I wanted to see how well the optimizations could held up when the server has 900~1400 online pretty much all day. Even though the code base is very old, I am happy that it can hold up as much as it can with all the improvements we have made to it since 2015.

From now on, maintenance should be around the same time again as it used to be (30~ days max). However, its nice to know if availability for some reason becomes unavailable that the server can hold itself just fine

That said, we are still working hard on the anniversary events as well as changes that comes with it. We are excited for it, and we hope you'll enjoy it as usual. Happy 10 years!
