Attempt #23's glove was sold at 580m mesos, the -3 from a previous attempt (on the 7/5 glove) was 60'd and ended up as a 8 att glove, so marking that as a complete bust.

14 attack facestomper arc Preamble

This post is to explain the reasoning and purpose behind my previous glove arc and this facestomper arc. A long time ago I noticed myself stagnating in terms of gear progression on maplelegends. I could keep farming and bossing, but all that happened as a result was that my coin stack would go up. My gear wouldn't really get stronger, and whenever I tried to purchase an upgrade on the market, there was someone else who had a bigger bank or was able to borrow coins to outbid me. I couldn't make any progress in the game. So, I looked around and started to talk to and engage with players who were above me in terms of attack gear. I found that there were a few possible reasons that they had better gear than me.

1) They worked harder than me (farmed / played more hours)
2) They were luckier than me (I cannot confirm this, because all I can see are their successes, I have no insight to how many times they have failed)
3) They gearshared / gearpooled so they had access to more resources than me

However, the above reasons did not apply to everyone. What I did find that applied to every single person with better gear than myself, was that they were willing to take risks that I was not.

Back in 2021/2022 I would never have imagined chaos scrolling ANYTHING of high value. I just saved mesos / coins and bought items from the market when they came. However, all the people with insane attack gear (60+ combined attack from cape, gloves, and shoe) got to where they are by taking risks. Every single person with 60+ combined attack from cape/glove/shoe self scrolled at least ONE of their impossibly strong items. I realized that if this is something I want to achieve, my current strategy of saving meso to buy from the market would never work. Hence, I decided to change my strategy and start taking risks, which is why I started to scroll my own facestompers and why I started the 8/5 glove arc.

I currently have a 22 attack cape, and as of the glove arc, a 24 attack glove. In order to join the other players in the 60+ cape/glove/shoe club, I need to get facestompers with at least 14 attack. That's the goal of this arc.

However, before I get into scrolling any new facestompers, I have to tell the story of all the facestompers I scrolled in the past. So, coming next will be ACT 1: Scrolled Facestompers From The Past

This was the first facestomper I purchased. It was a 3 attack clean facestomper that I bought for 1000 coins.
The progression went like this:

Total coins lost (value cs/ws at 103 coin, FS at purchase price):
