10k gacha tickets, multi-hero/bm/shad farm

    With the arrival of halloween event where raffle tickets drop from mobs, and my internet is finally working normally again for maplegends, I finally got some motivation to start farming again.

    Previously, for the past 1~2 months, because my internet had been lagging for maplelegends, causing clients to constantly disconnect, though other games worked perfectly fine, I stopped playing for a bit. Searched around for a bit and found out that other sg/my players had this issue too, and getting mudfish would solve the problem. Honestly, was too lazy and decided to take a break till halloween event comes before getting mudfish, but internet works fine for ml again, so it seems I won't be needing mudfish for the time being.

    Anyway, below are the methods of farming. Multi-hero has already been tested out [https://forum.maplelegends.com/index.php?threads/multi-hero-shout-gacha-farming-journal.54821/], some set-ups of multi-archer have been tested, and multi-shad is not ready yet, though it should be ready soon once I start buying leech for them.

    Methods of farming:
    1. Multi-hero, 8 heroes shouting at monkey forest 2.

    Can refer to the link above for more details on multi-hero shout. Gonna be farming a bit with multi-hero shout on this journal before retiring them and grind the rest of the tickets with multi-archer.

    2. Multi-archer, currently have 8x lvl129 bowmasters and 4x lvl108 marksmen, will most likely be making 5x more marksmen.

    Long wall of text incoming, bear with me:


    The thought behind multi-archer is mainly so I can hopefully create some sort of afk farm, something akin to temple of time 4x mage farming maybe [Didn't manage to try tot quad mage farming since I was still single-client farming when it got nerfed. But if my memory serves me right from reading the forum posts, it was something like mage could spam ulti without moving for 100x usage of mage ulti? And there were 4 safe spots, and all one would have to do was spam the mage ulti and loot the loot with one sweeper.].

    Up till now, single map duo-mage ulu2 is definitely the most afk-ish farming method that I used, but honestly not as afk as I want it to be. I want something where I don't really have to move my characters at all, something I don't have to constantly spam lots of keys on my keyboard to kill the mobs, something that I can farm while I'm doing my work - translating stuff, you know?

    Oh, by the way, before quad dk farming was nerfed, I always heard others complaining about how op and afk this farming method is, and honestly, it's all lies. Well, the op part I can sort of agree, but the afk part, no. And guess who created quad dk thinking it was going to be a super chill farming experience, only to abandon it after farming only a bit on them cause the farming experience was terrible, then came back again to make use of them to farm 4k tickets after roar had been nerfed? Yeah, me. Had to make use of the quad dk at least for a bit just so I could completely abandon them afterward without feeling I created them for nothing.

    From having to constantly move the dks [having stance doesn't mean you don't need to move, after 5 roars or something you will have to move your dk], constantly manually using hp pots [auto pet hp doesn't work with roar], needing to have my eyes focused on the screen if I don't want to miss the important loots, having to farm on 1024x768/1366x768 just so I can fully see all the loots on the screens, which means I have to watch videos on another monitor and honestly, it was a pain in the ass, and I ended up mostly listening to podcasts and songs while staring blankly into the 4x clients that filled up my entire monitor, it was not a good time at all.

    The worst farming method that I personally tried would be quad mage ulu 1. Quad mage ulu 1 is absolute torture, constantly having to move and adjust the 4 mages, while having to sweep with a fifth char that has high avoid and mount. I couldn't stand it after 3 hours, and didn't bother touching quad mage ulu 1 ever again.

    Quad dk in my opinion, is just a little more bearable compared to quad mage ulu 1. But well, I did only try the nerfed quad mage ulu1, which only has 1 safe spot, whereas previously it had 2 safe spots, I think? But honestly, what are safe spots when you still have to adjust right after 5 usage of mage ulti, and I don't know what's with the movement to reset mage ulti, sometimes even after I moved, the mage ulti still wouldn't reset and I would have to move the character again, it's the worst thing ever.

    Alright, getting back on track with multi-archer farming.
    3 of the few maps I have in mind that I want to try out/tried out:
    Monkey Forest 2 - https://maplelegends.com/lib/map?id=100040103 [Tried out a bit of 2x bm arrow bombing macro on a single map, and a bit of 6x bm arrow blow macro on a single map]
    Lost Time <2> - https://maplelegends.com/lib/map?id=220050200 [Tried out arrow blow macro, doesn't seem good]
    Lab - Area C1 - https://maplelegends.com/lib/map?id=261020300 [Tried out arrow blow macro, will be testing 9x mm iron arrow/pierce macro in the future]

    Monkey Forest 2 - Will test out two set-ups in the far future maybe.
    First set-up: 12 archers with 6x archers per map, macro arrow blow per 30s~ interval.
    Second set-up: 8x bm, 2x bm per map, macro arrow bomb per 30s~ interval.

    First set-up works fine with lvl129 archers, second set-up will only work with lvl139 bm from the looks of things, going to be needing lvl30 se to ensure constant 1 hit with arrow bombs.

    Both set-ups seem okay with how afk they are, but the biggest issue of the set-ups is that I would have to farm with 1366x768 resolution clients to be able to see the loots on the entire lanes.

    Sure, it's much more afk-ish compared to multi-hero shout, but honestly to me, if I can't watch videos while farming, or farm it while I'm working, the farm set-ups aren't ideal for me. [Oh btw, I'm not implying multi-hero shout farming is afk-ish, just that personally for me, it's chill to farm with, and it's probably on par with the chillness of single map duo mage ulu 2 for me.]

    Therefore, will most likely only be testing out the two set-ups in the far future, especially since I have a map that seems to work right now. [Going to have to test out farming the map for at least a few hours to confirm some things]

    Lost Time <2> - Tried out 8x archers with arrow blow macro, and 1 bishop genesis on bottom. Doesn't seem good. [Bishop should be using bahamat but I don't have bahamat cause I haven't done the bahamat quest yet. Will try out again in the future with 8x marksmen pierce macro + bishop bahamat]

    Lab - Area C1 - Tried out 3x bm arrow blow macro + 1x afk looter on a single map.

    Only tested out 15~20 minutes of farming, and obtained 3x common tickets, 1x rare ticket, 4x raffle tickets.

    Will try to get 1 mm to lvl129 in the next few days, so that I can test out farming with 9x archers.

    Also, the reason for leveling archers to lvl129 is for the sake of bow/xbow expert 30, which helps to ensure 1 hit on roids.

    Reasons for wanting to test out both archer arrow blow[single mob att skill] and marksman's iron arrow/pierce[multi mob att skills]:
    With single mob att skill, the length of afk farming till afk check triggers would probably be around 8~10 minutes. [Meaning I would only need to move the characters once every 8~10 minutes]

    Whereas for multi mob att skill, the length would probably be 15~20 minutes.

    I want to test out just how much of a difference there is between single-att mob skill and multi-att mob skill, how much each of them affects the drop rate of common and rare tickets.

    Also, I wonder if there will be a difference between the drop rate of second job skill [marksman's 2nd job skill, iron arrow] compared to fourth job skill [marksman's 4th job skill pierce].
    I remember like a year back when I was farming hhg with people for daily 50 coins or something, a few told me that first job skill has higher drop rate. I honestly wonder.

    3. Multi-shad, not sure yet, currently have 5x unwashed shads, 4x lvl129 and 1x lvl121, 6x washing shads, all 6x are lvl108. Honestly, most probably just gonna be using the washing shads, or at most 8x shads.

    Tickets obtained: 236 common, 25 rare, 136 raffle
