Multi-hero shout gacha farming journal

During my previous journal, I made 10x warriors (hero job) and 5x thieves (shadower job) so that I won't miss out on the exp when I'm farming for tickets.

A day or two ago, I finally got 8 of the heroes to level 139, which means, lvl30 stance + lvl30 guardian are achieved.

Tested out shout gacha farming at monkey forest 2 and from the looks of it, it seems decent for how chill and brainless it is. (Currently only tested monkey forest 2)

Don't have to watch for mobs to spawn, just brain-off, spam keyboard inputs.

My keyboard inputs: I press window key + one of the number 1~8, causing the window key to get locked, then began farming by pressing number 1~8, cycling through the clients, and just spam my shout macro button every time I cycled to a new client.

Of all the different farming methods I use, shout farming is probably the chillest method to farm, alongside duo mage ulu 2.

I can just shut off my brain and farm, while I watch a video or something on the same monitor.


Current hours farmed: 10 hours
Pots used for 10 hours of farming: No hp pot needed, 250~ pure water per char.
Total tickets: 228 common, 21 rare

Will post an update of my latest total tickets every week or something.

And will probably end the journal by the end of next coming event.

Considering that it takes 8 chars, and all of them are lvl139, just to farm 24~25 tickets per hour, pretty sure it's not gonna get nerf or anything, so it's fine.

And in any case, just like nerfed quad drk farming, I'm no longer touching this method of farming once I'm done with this journal, so if somehow it does get nerf, it's w/e.

Just wanna use the chars I created for a bit before I abandoned them and no longer touch them.

 

Yeah, per hour value is decent, but viewing everything as a whole, it's pretty bad.

 

Tried out a bit at stirge (kerning city subway:transfer area), and doesn't seem to be good.

Tried set-up of 4x heroes on 1 map (2 heroes on top map, and 2 heroes on btm map), and 2x heroes on 1 map (1 hero on top map, and 1 hero on btm map).

Mobs are too scattered, & eqs and etcs drops aren't as good as lupins.

Did try out using more pets to loot more platforms though. Tried 8 heroes with 2x pets each, and 4 shadowers with 1x pet each.

Idea of shadowers was that, with lvl30 shadow shifter+ high avoid, the hits from the 1-2 lupins would miss a lot, but would still need to turn on a laptop on the side to control the 4x shadowers from time to time.

And for the heroes, if I used 2x pets, sometimes the heroes would get hit off the platform, or get hit to the edge of platform, causing 1 of the pets to drop off, meaning I would have to reposition the pets again, which is quite troublesome, and I didn't like it.

I did some calculations on the drops, I am probably missing like 10m~ worth of mesos per hour if I don't do this set-up.

But with this set-up, I think the difficulty of farming is similar to quad-mage vikerola. And with this set-up, I can only listen to podcasts or songs while farming.

Whereas, with single pet set-up on each hero, the difficulty is similar to duo-mage ulu 2, which allows me to watch movies/videos on the side, and I'm pretty much only farming with this farming method when I'm chilling with my free time and watching videos/movies.

 

Haven't farmed since I posted this journal since I'm currently training 5x archers to lvl32 so I don't miss out on the exp when I'm farming lupins.

As of now, got all of them to lvl20.

Also, did some calculations on the drops from lupins.

Items obtained from 10 hours of farming: 13 5int starlights, 10x red whip, 170 leather, 407 stiff feathers (had 1k stiff feathers, but sold most of them before I owl-ed and realised they are worth something), 423 orihalcon ores, 458 amethyst ores, 126 emerald ores

Mesos gained from selling junk eqs, use drops, & etc drops: 40,114,075

Prices of items obtained that I would potentially sell for: starlight (500k), red whip (100k), leather (12k), stiff feather (7.5k), orihalcon plate (75k), amethyst (75k), emerald (170k)

Calculation: (13 x 500k) + (10 x 100k) + (170 x 12k) + (407 x 7.5k) + (42 x 75k) + (45 x 75k) + (12 x 170k) = 22.9m

Total calculation: 22.9m + 40.1m = 63m

To note: There are a total of 24 platforms, and I'm only actively looting 6 platforms. Most likely missing out on a lot of mesos per hour by not looting the other platforms.

Will test out how much I would earn in total if I were to loot all platforms at a later time.
