Community Poll: Drop filter made official?

I like the drop filter! It helps out immensely when grinding large mobs. Id really like Cravens to be added at Kents! It seems like there are some mixed opinions in this thread. I just don't think that a small filter is going to jeopardize the nostalgia of MapleLegends.
Depending on how easily 2 game files can be created, that would probably be the easiest solution. To just have MapleLegends and MapleLegends (w/ Filters) on the download page. But, that could be a lot of work for the GM's! And they will probably want to cater to the masses. It looks like theres only 37 people out of 1000? that oppose the filters.

 

That's a little dishonest, I could as easily claim that only 136 / 1000 are in favour of the filter. It's more accurate to say that 1 in 5 MapleLegend forum users are opposed to this change (and even them I am sure some people did not vote because they were in the middle)

Did you manually add the candies in the drop filter?

 

As mentioned by others, I'd much prefer to have the filters as an optional downloadable IMG file, much like the October Rev 2 file for Macs. (Would much rather do future Legends update this way IMO too, heh).

+1 too, since Drop Filter helps so much for my lil eyes here.

Also, i assume its safe to use the previous PBB skill edit since it doesnt seem to bug much, only on the 29.4 patch. Can any staff help answering this?

 

The edits are not official so we can't really support you on that matter. While you are free to apply the cosmetic wz edits, we hold no responsibility if they bug.

 

Development/maintenance of official drop filter will solely depend on availability of volunteering staff (if any).

 

wait so is the drop filter allowed or whats the situation? Also i think i found an 22/02/2018 ver somewhere and if so, is it working to use old ver and show nx/gach drops?

 

They're allowed, but just no public ones atm.
You can use old ones but definately at your own risk, old files will have old data that isn't updated to the current version. Items will be missing, which can cause dcs and other issues.
