Money making quests for new players

Loosely based on the thread by Mr. Anchor. I wanted to create an easy to follow meso making quest guide for new players on how to make some initial pot money when starting from zero. Some quests are excluded if they rely on a low, non-repeatable chance, require too much time, or are not worthwhile for other reasons.

Prices are based on current fm market prices in May 2023. The pricing is at a value that I have sold the items myself or seen it sold. Check owlrepo.com for more up-to-date prices.

Quests

Level 5: 200k - 1.5mil (Red/White/Blue/Yellow Work Gloves)
Protect Lucas's Farm - Lucas on Maple Island
Yellow WGs are worth 1.5mil, the others around 200k
Hint: With 15 leather you can make more WGs at the item maker in Kerning. Pigs and Ribbon pigs are a great source of leather.

Level 21-30: 2.1mil (10% overall int scroll)
Kerning PQ, only low chance of getting this reward, I estimate about 1 in 20 pqs.

Level 23: 200k-500k (Pig Illustrated or Pig Headband)
Camillas Gem in Henesys (jump quest)

Level 25: 2mil (Rageddy cape)
Mystery of Niora Hospital - Jane doe in Kerning City

Level 25: 3mil (30% overall dex scroll)
Read the Newspaper! - Showa town (needs rare equip drop from cloud fox)

Level 30: 3 mil (Sauna robe)
Mr. Wetbottom's Secret Book - Sleepywood

Level 30: 5.8mil (30% shoes jump scroll)
MapleStory Basic Knowledge - Henesys and Zipangu
The required Maple Special Bento drops from Blue Mushroom

Level 30: 0 - 6 mil (10% chance of a 30% wand attack scroll)
Sakura and the Teddy Bear - Ludi and Zipangu
Very low chance of getting the right scroll, therefore also a low effort quest.

Level 31: 0.2 - 4 mil (chance for 10% or 60% overall int scroll)
Terminating the Dark Force - Omega Sector

Level 36: 0.6 mil (60% glove att scroll)
Subani's Legacy - NLC

Level 40: 9 mil (70% glove att scroll)
ReVersal - NLC/Omega Sector/Ludi

Level 40: 5.8mil (30% shoes jump scroll)
Sakura, the Kitty and the Orange Marble - Showa Town
You will need the Boss Kitty Answers
The 300 chicken you can get from the Ant tunnel store, easily reachable by Lith harbor VIP Cab

Level 50: 0 - 4.5mil (1/3 chance for 60% face avoid scroll)
The Secret of Ninja Castle - Zipangu/Ninja Castle

Level 50: 3 - 5mil (for mages only - Nocturnal Staff. Other classes get garbage)
Cleaning Up the Streets - NLC

Level 52: 0.5 - 1.5mil (10% weapon scroll + 60% cape int scroll)
The Alligators at the Swamp - Henesys/Ludi

Level 65: 4 - 8mil (20 Guava)
This one seems MapleLegends specific, I can't find any info on this online.
1. Talk to Spinel, go to Golden Tempel
2. On the right end of the map, talk to She Long, accept "Mischivious little monkeys" quest
3. Go one map to the right, kill 50 wild monkey and 50 Mama monkey
4. Receive 20 Guava - which are 20 att / 15 min pots, they should sell for 200k to 400k each on FM

If you complete the Ravana prequest you will receive another 20 Guava along the way.

Level 30-70: 0.3 - 40mil (Jays Questline)
To save time, recommend doing this at lv85 from start to finish.
1. Fine the maple history book
2. Sakura and the Teddy Bear - Showa town/Ludi (10% chance for 30% wand m.att = 6mil)
3. Doll in the Dark - Henesys/Ludi (chance for 30% topwear str / cape int / helmet int = 1.5 to 2.5mil)
4. Soul in the Dark - Henesys/Ludi (chance for 30% glove att = 22mil, 30% shoes jump = 5.8mil, 30% overall int = 11mil, 30% earring int = 15mil, and most other scrolls also have value, check owlrepo)

Level 80: 25mil (Silver deputy star pendant)
Bounty Hunter (for this one you either need the help of a lv130+ player or be high level yourself)

Level 85: 0-11mil (50/50 chance for 30% overall int.)
Sabitrama's Life Work - Sleepywood/Ludi

Level 85: 0-25mil (25% chance for 30% gfa scroll - 25mil + 25% chance for 30% ov int scroll - 11mil)
The Committee Challenges - Sleepywood/Ludi
Needs some high level drops, best completed at lv100 and higher.

Level 85: 11mil (30% overall int. + 30% glove dex)
An Unknown Love - Henesys/Ludi

Level 85: 0.2 - 13mil (chance for 30% shield m.att, 30% glove m.att or 30% ov int. scroll)
Away from Kampung - Malaysia


Honorable Mentions - Etc. Farming

Leather from Pigs and Ribbon Pigs sells for 5 to 10k each in FM
Lucky Charms from Leprechaun sell about 100k each in FM, but drops only rarely.
Lazy Buffy Marbles from Lazy Buffy sell about 35k each in FM, but requires you to be lv80+ to farm effectively.
Power crystal ores can be sold for 30k each. They are dropped by the high spawn rate mobs Jr.Wraith and Coolie Zombie
Dex crystal ores can be sold for 20k each. They are dropped by the high spawn rate mobs Samiho and Miner Zombie.
Gold tooth can be sold for 180k each. They are dropped by Miner Zombie
