Should nightlords carry the financial burden of the server?

    Remember that time that nls were buffed to help with the dependency of SE. But then low levels suffered, so it was reverted but then never addressed again.

    Thats not the point. If you use Drk pot cost as a basis for comparison, every single class need to be revamped.

    That is the point tho. All the changes made are targeted at endgame NLs who despite all the changes will probably still be good at PB.

    Meanwhile for people who do not PB, these changes are just unnecessary tweaks to chip away at the identity of the class. Just because balancing decisions are only made with PB in mind, which is honestly disappointing.

    Yes, the new alchemist doesn't change much. But it is pretty much a dead skill now for any NL that has moderately washed (as if NL has a lack of dead skills).

    It's not just about PB. Alchemist extending atk pot duration was an unnecessary bonus for a class that's already strong on its own.
    Also, I find it hilarious that nobody (except Chris) mentioned the buff up to 200% effectiveness. That will have a bigger impact for these food stamp nightlords you keep talking about than the reduced cider duration, and if they're using apples in content, they must not be that poor to begin with.

    If its not about PB, it is even more disappointing. It means balanced team looked at 1 extra minute of cider and decided 'yep thats broken af' when theres plenty of more pressing issues.

    The 200% pot means practically nothing when you are washed. Your NL must be washed, you should know that.

    What does being washed have anything to do with pot use efficiency. Why are you talking about the experience of an end game washed NL when you haven't experienced that yourself?

    Im sure you know % pots exist.
    At which point did I talk about the experience of end game NL? Im saying all the changes were very unnecessary from a early or midgame perspective.

    NL's "needing" the space in inventory is a lame excuse for reverting alchemist when they use 150 pots for an entire 2x horntail

    i don't see a problem extending use slots sometime in the future. access to alchemist does nothing for washed nl anyway

    Realistically even with max use slots I think its still a lil small, I have a checklist I use to bring the bear minimum of all items I need for HT to manage it

    There's a tradeoff, that... NL being the overall strongest ranged attacker within a party.

    It doesn't mean that an expensive recharge cost isn't fun, or even bearable for new players to try to deal with. Seems like another set of Legends-unique only changes as a result of other broken stuff in the game design (like Multimagers *spits* )
