I think someone mentioned something about people being toxic when they don't get what they want after 10 tries if said item had a 10% chance. That's not how probability works and people have a hard time understanding that because it's not intuitive.

So yeah, I think the main motivation reason is to not have to deal with such unnecessary toxicity. Most game are REQUIRED to show % because people sink real money into those gachapon-esque items.

Agree. Transparency is the best policy when it comes to things like this. I would also prefer things like drop rates being different for different skills to be made public. Seems unfair that only a small portion of the population are allowed to have the knowledge.

They also "stealth buffed" heal in the beginning of the event, but no one wants to give staff credit for that.

Not saying that stealth nerfs happen constantly, but one such example was the cwkpq bonus stage NX nerf. This was a clearly a deliberate change and not a bug. I asked kimmy after the patch whether it was a bug or a intended change, she said that the nerf was indeed intentional and that she just forgot to add it to the patch notes. I don't doubt that kimmy probably just forgot to add a note in that particular case, but such cases alongside undisclosed drop rate multipliers for certain skills and events like the fake HT drop rate nerf give off the impression that staff really can just silently change something behind the scenes and never say anything about it until players themselves investigate.

 

y'all need to cut the staff some slack, they are working for free so at least try and be grateful

 

How is forgetting to announce a nerf any different from a stealth nerf?
