Kick up your feet and pick up a fishing rod this Summer! All characters* Level 10 or higher can join in the fun by talking to NPC Cassandra, who can be found in most towns. Participating in event-related content will net you Bait Points, which are exchanged for Bait that you can use to fish, eventually earning you Fishing Coins and Blue Fishing Coins that can be redeemed for many eye-catching items!

*Some content not available to Islanders

    Angler's Rest

Away from the hustle and bustle of the Maple World is Angler's Rest, a local fishing hub that welcomes fisherfolk of all kinds, from newcomers to oldtimers. Speak to Cassandra to visit Angler's Rest and let your summer vacation, begin!

During the Event, you will earn Bait Points by participating in the many summer activities found throughout the Maple World:
    • Kedrick's Baited or Outsmarted? Fishing Quiz
    • Roel's Huge Pearl Jump Quest
    • Monster Battle Party Quest
    • and of course regular Bossing, Party Quests, and Farming!
Once you've racked up a bunch of Bait Points, speak to NPC Kedrick at Angler's Rest to buy Bait to start fishing!

Players can hold up to a maximum of 10000 Bait Points at a time
Use the !points command to check how many Bait Points, Bait, and Fishing Coins you have

    Fishing

With your Bait in hand, now you got to put a fishing pole in the other one! If you haven't already, talk with Kedrick to complete his quest, Broken Chair, in order to get some fishing equipment of your own. Once you have a Fishing Legends Chair, all's that left is to... well... fish!

Speak to NPC Madrick at Angler's Rest to visit any of the 4 available fishing holes. Each location has something that makes it unique; from the atmosphere, the music, and even what you can catch on your fishing line!

NEW custom music has been added to Angler's Rest and all 4 Fishin' Holes
Fully immerse yourself in the joys of fishing by playing with your BGM on!
Players can also utilize the !music command to pick any tuna tune of their choice

When present in 1 of any of the Fishin' Hole maps, as long as a player has Bait in the Use slot of their Inventory, they can sit in a fishing chair of their choice and watch the fish catch themselves! Hook, line, and sinker!

Players can hold up to a maximum of 360 Bait in their inventory at a time
Players must be Level 11 or above to fish

    Fishing Coins

When you've caught yourself a whole haul of fish, take them over to NPC Claret, the local chef at Angler's Rest. Depending on what you've caught, he'll pay you quite a hefty sum of Fishing Coins, which can be used at NPC Beryl's shop.

Accept Claret's quest, Secret Dish of the Great Chef, and help him cook Today's Special to be rewarded with a rare Blue Fishing Coin.

Players can give their Blue Fishing Coins back to Claret in order to enter the Summer Raffle or instead obtain Ability Point Resets.

A maximum of 7 Blue Fishing Coins can be earned per week from Claret

    Fishin' Hole Premium Dish

Different from Today's Special, Claret has a delicious dish exclusive to the fisherfolk of Angler's Rest! However, this dish is made from more than the average fish. Collect what Claret needs and he'll cook up his Fishin' Hole Premium Dish for you!

    • Fishin' Hole Premium Dish: Accuracy +100, Evasion +100, Jump +140, Speed +140, WDEF +100, MDEF +100, Attack +20, Magic Attack +20, Holy Symbol bonus, Hyper Body bonus for 1 hour.
Players can hold only 1 Fishin' Hole Premium Dish in their inventory at a time

    Baited or Outsmarted?

Think you know your fish facts? Or do you have the memory of a goldfish? Put your knowledge to the test with Kedrick's Fishing Quiz, Baited or Outsmarted! Be careful, though. Any wrong answer will put you back where you started, but with a different batch of fishy questions to answer.

Players can complete the quiz 1 time per day, it will then reset daily at Server Reset (23:59:59 Server Time)
    Available to Players Level 10+

    Roel's Huge Pearl

Roel in Florina Beach needs your help! The summer dance is starting soon and she needs a Huge Pearl to complete her costume. How quickly can you jump through the obstacles of Hinamatsuri to retrieve the Huge Pearl from the Clamshell?

Players can only earn Bait Points from their first 7 completions each week
Quest is available to Players Level 25+
NEW! A Leaderboard feature has been added to the Roel's Huge Pearl Jump Quest! How quickly can you make it to the top of Hinamatsuri and the leaderboard?

    Monster Battle

Also known to many as Boss PQ (BPQ), this Party Quest is found in the Exclusive Training Center, accessible through Cassandra. Available either solo (via NPC Agent Meow) or as a team (via NPC Agent Kitty), players can challenge themselves to take on some of the Maple World's fiendish fiends... er, foes.

Players can only earn Bait Points from their first 5 attempts each week
Teams must consist of a party of players within 30 levels of each other

NEW! A Leaderboard feature has been added to the Monster Battle Party Quest! Think you have the strength and the speed to beat these Bosses and the leaderboard?

Fun in the Sun, for Everyone!

Participating in regular game content, like Boss Expeditions and Party Quests, will also earn you Bait Points!

Players will also be able to hunt monsters around the Maple World in order to collect Ice Boxes. Inside these boxes, players can obtain Bait, along with some other summertime surprises.

Additionally, Bonus EXP rates of 5% Bonus EXP for all players and 10% Bonus EXP for active attackers are live during our Summer event.
