[Dummies Guide] Lunar New Year & Valentine's Day Event 2024

TLDR: You can access all of the fun festivities by entering the event map through Cassandra, an NPC found in most towns

• Raffles (HongBaos) give normal raffle drops such as chairs, good gacha items, chairs, and event-exclusives, and are obtained through quests and mobs
  
• Event points (Dragon Coins) give cosmetic awards such as hair/face coupons, clothes, pets, and rings and are obtained through mobs

Spoiler: Raffles (HongBaos)

Here are ways to get raffles (HongBaos):

1. Quest between Yoria & Gold Richie at the event map
   
   
2. Repeatable quests from Suha at the event map
   1. Complete 3 party quests
   2. Complete 2 jump quests
   3. Kill 888 mobs around your level
   4. Kill 5 bosses
3. Dragon's Challenge series of hard jump quests, also offered by Suha
   
   
4. Drops from mobs

Spoiler: Ring of Passion

To get the Ring of Passion (the standard Valentine's Event equip) with +3 all stats:

1. Talk to Mom and Dad at Amoria: Meet the Parents, the map above Henesys Hunting Ground 2
   
2. Retrieve one of each color rose weapon (red, blue, white, yellow) which are dropped by a variety of mobs

Spoiler: 8-Blessing Ring

To get the 8-Blessing Ring:

1. Talk to Yoria to get:
   1. The 8-Blessing Ring with a +1 all stats and 8 slots
   2. An 8-Blessing Charm (100% scroll) that gives +1 all stats
2. Talk to Yoria to activate the ring enhancement quest, in which you can trade in 88 No-Blessing Charms (from mob drops) to get additional 8-Blessing Charms

Note: Even though the No-Blessing Charms can stack above 88, you can only turn in the quest once per day​

Spoiler: Valentine's Chairs

To get the three Valentine's chairs, you must complete the Romeo and Juliet quests in Magatia. Check out Jesscapade's guide from 2019 here.

Spoiler: Consummables

1. You can receive Chocolate Baskets (portable GM buffs) once every 20 hours from Ace of Hearts in Henesys, Ludibrium, and Mu Lung which requires 1 each of the following drops: dark chocolate, white chocolate, gold ribbon, heart box
   
   (I usually buy these from FM since I'm lazy)
   
   
2. You can receive stackable Hot ‘n’ Ready Dumplings (+22WA & +33MA) once daily by talking to Yoria
