Remove cancels from single target bosses

    Even those ideas would still be very muleable. I don't think there's a way to solve mulability directly, outside of making it impractical or not worthwhile to keep extra clients around. In the current context of negating an entire weapon cancel, that's a massively gamebreaking boost to the associated warrior (and the associated mules).

    A lower impact crash, such as the current application of armor crash on w.def is fine, as it is a good boost to have but not an outright requirement like cancel crashing would become. The issue there is priest's dispel does all 3 warrior crashes together and more :confused:.

    Other servers had a cool idea for cancels: the boss summons mobs at the same time as the cancel, and the cancel only goes away once all of the mobs are defeated. Brings utility to mages in bosses where they are otherwise not as useful (extremely easy to mule this though on a server known for multi-clienting). I am not advocating for implementation of such a custom mechanic though, just sharing what I thought was a cool idea

    cancels are for people to interact and chat, hence promote community bonding and new ties. These are invaluable mechanisms to the server.
    besides DRs and WCs give people a chance to sip their water, rest their hands.

    Weapon cancel needs to be adjusted so it isnt spamming 15 minutes straight. HT body I think is fine, Krex seems good, but pianus, HT preheads are completely ridiculous. Zak body can literally turn a 20minute run into 30+ just from cancels, the wc cooldown needs to be lengthened and better odds of wc vs mc (50/50 would be fair, so its a coin flip. The duration should realistically be reduced.

    Yes its an old game, but a ton of burnout is from sitting staring at the 10th straight weapon cancel which is why I essentially don't do zak anymore.

    I remember trying to solo rav on my I/L snd being confused asf why I kept hitting 1's. I thought it had a elemental immunity to lightning kek

    just reduce the W/C & M/C attack to 15 seconds for those bosses.

    HT and whatever else remains a 30% block of attacks for 30 seconds OnionNinja

    would be good some kind of mechanic to "break" the weapon cancel
    ofc it could be something different, but just an example: after wc is used, you can wait OR break some towers (like the HPQ plant, for example) with basic attack to remove it
    it would require party play, movement and organization
    maybe hard to implement tho, or way too custom

    I believe that the most frustrating thing about this mechanic is that you use a pot of more att to advance the run and deal less damage because of a block sequence..

    What if heros were given an ability called "Armor Crash" that could cancel a mob's weapon cancel? Solving two issues in one swing, adding an interactive gameplay mechanic that rewards quick reaction to an event (an interaction like Bishop's dispel against mage in CWKPQ), and giving heros a spot in the meta for a niche without having to rebalance any other classes.

    I actually hate cancels the most on HT prehead, even above Zakum.

    HT is already such a long slog to get through depending on amount of players and comp, do we really need yet another layer to making the run last even longer? Doesn't help that prehead already punishes cleave unnecessarily too. If it were up to me I would remove cancels and reduce the prehead HP by like 5x, but I know that's not happening. Would be nice if they could at least not cancel and waste even more time, though.
